Onions

Some of the Kingsmead students have started planting some vegetables in the garden.

One of the vegetables is onion. Onions are very strong and make you cry when you cut them up.

carrots

Kingsmead students are thinking of growing vegetables like carrots, parsnips, potatoes, onions and sweet potatoes. This is how you grow carrots.

Carrots are loaded with vitamins, and they are nutritious. Carrots grow best in cool temperatures of early spring. Sow them very thinly, about 1/4 inch deep.

Wildlife

There will be lots of wildlife at the pond. There will be flowers, so there will be bees and wasps. There could be squirrels too because there are nuts above the pond. There will be birds and a bird’s nest near the pond. There are also lots of tress around it.

Wildlife

I will like to see squirrels, frogs, blackbirds, bumblebees, butterflies, ladybirds, robins, finches, water snails, fish, rabbits and other things.  The trees I would like to see in the Kingsmead Garden are Silver Birch ,Weeping Willow, Oak and a Beech tree.

Gardens

Birds should  come to gardens around the world, to eat nuts and foxes too and also rabbits. Slow growing trees  would be good and  piranhas in the pond!

Wildlife

In the pond area, I would like to see nice pretty flowers. The type  of flowers I would like to see are roses and violets etc… I would put flowers in the garden because I would like to attract bees.
