A group of 8 Kingsmead students have recently started “Forest School” sessions at Fyne Court. Following a successful introductory morning which was held in school, the students took part in their first official session at our National Trust woodland venue on the Quantock Hills. The group received a warm and informative welcome from the National Trust Ranger, Rob Skinner, before exploring the woodland with a scavenger hunt and wild flower identification activity. Throughout the session, students enjoyed den building, practising new knots and joining in team games. The sessions will be continuing weekly for the students this term.
