Open Stage 2017

Posted on Nov 27, 2017

Students took to the ‘Open Stage’ on the evenings of Thursday 23rd and Friday 24th November when they entertained audiences with their own variety style shows.  Every year group was represented on the bill with acts showcasing the amazing talents of our students.  There was something for everyone with singing, instrumentals, dancing and magic!

Elizabeth Vassallo Head of Drama said, “I am so proud of the talent our students have.  Kingsmead's Open Stage gives them the opportunity to show what they can do with skills they have gained in and outside of school.  I was very impressed with the variety of acts and the commitment and enthusiasm the students showed for the event.”

Huw Weston, Head of Music said, “It was wonderful that so many students took part in the shows.  These were live performances and the quality was fantastic.”
