Year 10 Geography students visited Bristol on 15th and 17th January to carry out field work in support of their GCSE studies. The students first went on a boat trip from Wapping Wharf to investigate the re-development of the docks in the city. They then moved on to the shopping centres at Broadmead and Cabot Circus to carry out field work for the ‘UK People and Places and Dynamic Inner Cities’ unit of their course. They also visited two contrasting residential areas to look at the quality of life throughout the central Bristol area.
In class students will be using the data they gathered to aid them towards the fieldwork part of their GCSE exams.
