Kingsmead GCSE Results 2018

Posted on Aug 23, 2018

Once again Kingsmead is celebrating excellent GCSE results.  The headline figure of Grade 5+ and Grade 4+ in both English and Maths are 42% and 67% respectively.  Initial estimates suggest that the progress made by students is very impressive with a Progress 8 score of +0.67 which means students have on average achieved more than half a grade higher than their targets based on outcomes at Key Stage 2.

Outgoing Headteacher Mark Griffin said “This is another great set of results for Kingsmead students.  It is testimony to the hard work of teachers, support staff and students supported by their parents.  We know that this year’s exams were harder than in any previous year which makes the achievements of the students even more praiseworthy.  I am sure that the school will go from strength to strength in the coming years.”

Isabella Fasciani: 1 x 9, 5 x 8, 3 x 7,1 x A
