Concerns and Complaints
We place a high value on our partnerships with parents/carers and the wider community. Where issues arise, or where there are concerns, we are keen to resolve these as quickly and positively as possible.
The school has a wide range of staff available to help students, or their parents/carers, with any issues or concerns that might arise.
Your child's Tutor should be contacted in the first instance. They can help you with routine issues and general concerns. To get in touch with one of them please email the School at email@example.com or telephone 01984 623483.
Heads of Year
If you have an issue regarding learning, achievement or academic progress, please contact your child's Head of Year.
Also if you have any concerns around behaviour, bullying, wellbeing or pastoral care, the Head of Year is the best person to speak with.
Class Teachers or Heads of Department
Teachers and Heads of Department should be contacted if you have concerns around your child’s learning and progress in a specific subject, or have queries around the homework they are being set.
The SEND Department support students with additional needs, including those with special educational needs and disabilities, children who are looked after or have previously been looked after, and those with particular medical needs where additional support is required.
The Team is led by Mrs Laura Mackie (Assistant Headteacher – Inclusion/SENCo) and can be contacted by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org marked FAO Laura Mackie.
