County Cup Quarter Finals

Our Year 9 rugby team beat Chilton Trinity School in their County Cup Quarter Final, by 64-7. It was an outstanding performance from the team, with all 20 squad members making a huge contribution, to score 10 tries.

Powerful ball carrying, combined with some expansive attacking rugby proved too much for a solid Chilton Trinity team, whose strong runners were dealt with well by the aggressive Kingsmead defence.

The tries were shared between seven players: Noah L, Alfie B, Fred G (2), Thomas C,, Mason G, Jacob W and Ruan L (3) – showing what a team effort it was.

Noah L added seven conversions. Man of the Match went to Ruan L for his line breaks, defence and of course hat trick in a quality performance from centre. The boys now look forward to the Semi Final, with the draw to be confirmed.
