Jumping Success

We’re very proud of Georgia A, who has qualified for the national schools NSEA Arena Eventing Championships at Hickstead in May next year. She came third in a class of 45 in a competition at Pontispool in Taunton, jumping 80-85cm on her horse Backfox Jack (Jack).

Arena eventing is a tough course combining showjumping and cross country fences.

Georgia told us: “I still can’t believe it. I didn’t expect to qualify at all, it was one of Jack and my first competitions back after we had a nasty accident resulting in injury last summer. So to qualify was amazing as I wasn’t even aiming for a result, I just wanted to come home safe!

“Very excited for the champs, although very nervous!”
