School Gateway

School Gateway is a parent engagement app that will allow you to access communication and information from the school at anytime from anywhere. This will allow you to receive all your information from the school quickly and reliably in the forms of emails, text messages and in app communication. 

You will be able to view the following for your child(ren):

  • Lesson Timetables
  • Your contact details
  • School details
  • Student details
  • Medical conditions
  • Academic Reports
  • Attendance
  • Pupil Premium questionnaire

Please save the following details in your contacts, these are what will be used with School Gateway.

The school will use the email address and mobile number that we hold for the Priority 1, 2 and 3 contact(s) with Parental Responsibility from our database. If you are not certain that we have your correct details, please contact the school office on contact@kingsmead-school.com or by calling 01984 623483.

How to activate your account

  1. Download School Gateway from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
  2. Once downloaded and installed, launch School Gateway.
  3. At the bottom of the screen, press Sign up.
  4. Enter your Email Address and Mobile number. You must agree to the Privacy Notice and Terms
    and Conditions before continuing.
  5. Press Send Pin. You will receive a unique PIN from 01684 342297.
  6. You’re now ready to log in and start using School Gateway.

How to login

  1. Once you have your PIN, go ahead and launch the School Gateway app on your smartphone or tablet.
  2. Enter the email you have registered with your school and the PIN you received.
  3. If both the email and PIN are entered correctly, hit Login and you’re all set.

Troubleshooting

  • If your School Gateway account has locked for an hour:
    • Wait the hour, on the School Gateway login screen, click on Forgotten PIN
      Enter the email and mobile that you have provided to the school, you will then receive a PIN
      on a text to your mobile.
    • Input the new PIN and email on the School Gateway login screen and this will unlock your
      account and enable you to access
  • If your account has locked for 24 hours, please contact support@kingsmead-school.com
  • On the School Gateway login screen, click on Forgotten PIN
  • Enter the email address and mobile number that is registered with your school
  • You will then receive a PIN on text
  • Enter the 4-digit PIN received via text
  • Once logged in the home screen will be displayed

Please contact the school office and check we have the correct email and mobile contact details for you entered onto your child’s record on our database.

  • Search for emails from SC9334355a@schoolcomms.com
  • Check your JUNK / SPAM folder
  • Save the email address in your contacts and or Safe Senders list
